Happy New Year

The first day back at the office in the New Year after a long break is never one of the best days of the year. My approach is to think of a few of my favourite things (but not in quite the same Sound of Music way, as Julie Andrews did!).

Here are a few of the things I love, and from all at CBSL Accountants we hope you have a great New Year, and look forward to seeing you soon: -

• Sarah, Ollie and Saffron;
• Warmth… Whether from a log fire, or summer sun, or the blast of heat that you get when you step off an aeroplane for a holiday (depending when and where you go of course!);
• Red Bordeaux, and white Burgundy;
• Eating out with my family;
• Our Aga (until it goes out!);
• Cooking: I love putting a plate of good food in front of someone I care about. Slow roast lamb or pork shoulder, game, fish, in fact pretty much everything (except cucumber!);
• Friends;
• Northern France. Italy, especially Rome;
• Endorphins from a hard session at the gym;
• And of course. CBSL Accountants.
