CBSL’s Award Winning Digital Marketers
Sam O’Prey, the CBSL Group Marketing Manger, has been notified by the Chartered Institute of Marketing that he has been awarded the 2009 CIM West Midlands Award for Best Studying Member E-Marketing (Digital Marketing) Award.
The awards are for the best performance for candidate completing their qualification during the 2008-09 academic year. Sam achieved his PDA in E-Marketing (now known as the Digital Marketing PDA) and completed the course in 2009 and he continues to train with the Chartered Institute of Marketing to ensure that his marketing skills and activity for clients and CBSL Group companies are up to date and demonstrate best practice.
Sam is also a member of the Google Professionals programme and is a Web Certified Search Engine Marketer. Between digital marketing activities including SEO, Pay Per Click and online marketinghe also runs the CBSL Marketing and Telemarketing department providing clients with a full rounded marketing approach that delivers measurable returns on investment.
Sam said “The course covered everything from search engine optimisation, online marketing, developing a digital marketing strategy and email marketing all the way through to analysing and understanding customers online behaviour. It also included emerging technologies such as mobile phone marketing, interactive TV & radio marketing and Bluetooth proximity marketing. This has added to the strong SEO and web development skills I have developed over the last 10 years enabling me to advise both our group companies and our clients on the best electronic marketing tools and techniques for their business bringing them better returns for their marketing investment”.
Sam is set to recieve his award on May 17th from the CIM’s distinguished guest Professor Leslie de Chernatony who will be flying in from Switzerland.
